Anant Wagle has been active in creating and editing literature for more than two decades. A poet, writer, editor and facilitator of creative writing, he has published a novel, a poetry collection and about five dozen children's books. He has a good experience in teaching and practicing journalism, and has received various national level awards including Pahichan Award, Yuvavarsh Moti Award, Sajha Children's Literature Award, Nepalese Society of Children's Literature (NeSChiL) Best Book Award. Wagle, who also edited the Kantipur daily's children's magazine 'Kopila', is also an activist for the promotion of reading culture. He is associated with Room to Read and oversees teacher training and development of quality reading materials for children.
